Emmy award winning journalist Susan Wood has been a tour de force in the Utah TV news scene for nearly two decades. During that time she’s worked in virtually every facet of the news industry, including management.
Susan gained critical praise for her work covering the Utah floods in 2005 for which she won an Emmy Award for Best Team coverage. She was also received top honors for Best Weekend Newscast in 2006 by the Utah Broadcasters Association.
Other notable achievements include producing and reporting the award winning segment, ‘Wednesday’s Child’ for KUTV as well the ‘School To Careers Campaign.’ Susan is also known for her work with numerous charitable organizations, including The Rocky Mountain Adoption Exchange, The Lung Association, Music and Arts on Broadway Organizing Committee, United Animal Alliance Coalition.
Susan currently works as a freelance journalist and public relations specialists for Intermountain Healthcare as well as The Children’s Miracle Network.
