BYU Graduate Yeah Samake Runs For Mali's Highest Office

A BYU graduate is running for president in 2012, but you won't find Yeah Samake's name on a U.S. ballot. He's running for president of the West African nation of Mali.

The election is just a few months away and Samake is turning to Utah's elected leaders for their help and guidance.

Salt TV Contributor Susan Wood of the Utah League of Cities and Towns, recently sat down with Samake and talked about his plan to bring a better way of life to the people of his native land.
