A stretch of one of the state's oldest, most distinguished cities has been officially recognized as an American treasure. Main Street in Farmington, Utah has just been added to the National Registry of Historic Places.

The designation not only celebrates the town's unique pioneer history, but also delivers some modern day perks to local homeowners.
