The 2011 Sundance Premiere Of Miss Representation Proves Deeply Moving, Thought Provoking

One of the films generating the most of buzz coming out of the 2011 Sundance Film Festival is the documentary Miss Representation.

The film deals with the lack of women’s representation in the media from local news to Oscar winning films.

In an attempt to change that, the Women’s Media Center brought young women journalists to Sundance to interview female media icons, the likes of Geena Davis and Gloria Steinem.

Those who took part found the experience and the film eye opening and exhilarating.

SALT TV's Twinkle Chisholm has the story.
